Master the 3H's in just 10 Minutes Per Day

Hey!

Redmon Borinez here, the founder of Creator Mindset.

We have a chunky newsletter this week, ready for you to consume. We'll be addressing the master framework that will help aid your content creation, whether you are on YouTube or Instagram, this framework will work anywhere.

Enjoy, and thank you for reading.

TEACHING 📚

Have you heard of the three H's before?

Hero, Hub, and Help is a framework for your channel, whether you are on YouTube. Instagram, Tiktok, or Facebook, following this will help what content you're going to release to your audience.

Hero: These are essentially your backbone in helping you obtain maximum exposure to your channel. These videos should be well thought out, focusing on relatable things, elicit strong emotion and capitalize on trending topics.

TIP: You can use a site called lsigraph.com to help you find trending topics.

Hub: The meat of your channel. These are the videos that have your audience subscribed to your channel in the first place, as you add value to them. These are the ones you create each week, making sure you're consistent and always trying to improve your content each upload.

Help : These videos help you with SEO in the long term, capitalizing on the "how-to" keyword for your videos.

Master this framework each day so that you understand which video you are uploading fits in what section of the H's.

It'd be wise to create 1 hero and 2 helps monthly while the rest are your hub videos.

Remember, YouTube isn't a quick magic pill - this will take time.

SHARING 💬

Streamer: I want to become a full-time Twitch streamer.

Redmon: That's awesome. Seeing you're a new kid on the block, do you plan how you will be growing your streams?

Streamer: I plan to stream around 8 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.

Above is a common question I get from aspiring streamers, even streamers who aren't big just yet have no idea why their streams aren't growing six months in.

Here are my thoughts...

If your goal is to become a full-time streamer, you will have a hard time growing on Twitch instead of YouTube or Facebook.

Why? 😯

Because Twitch doesn't have an algorithm, they actually do, but the layout of how Twitch is not optimised, compared to YouTube. It has nothing to determine what stream is 'good' or 'bad via likes or comments. It's based on how many people view your stream.

Growing on Twitch alone, you're going to have a very rough time. You're stream will be growing at a literal snail pace. 🐌

The only way you can grow (that we know of) on Twitch is either...
✅ An already established stream that did a random raid/host that shouts you out
✅ Host a podcast
✅ Collaborate with other Streamers

TIP: Work on diversifying your content. Create content for all your platforms, not just Twitch.

INTERVIEWS 🚀

How A Bet With Friends Grew Into A Major Following.

With no intentions to creating videos on YouTube in the early days, his friend challenged him to see who can get their first 1000 views first. Because of the challenge, he fell in love with the process of creating videos on Adobe After Effects, since then he hasn't stopped creating videos and the rest is history.

INSPIRATION ✨

I want to talk about a YouTuber, Nickolas Green Outdoors.

His niche is to do with camping. Because he was consistent with his upload when something unique happened, the 64th video he uploaded went viral.

A random person from the internet shared his video on Reddit, specifically on r/videos, one of the largest communities on Reddit. If your video makes it to at least the first page of r/videos, your video will go viral 99% of the time.

That got him a ton of subscribers. He used that to his advantage and kept uploading videos, which kept getting higher and higher views each week.

Was it strategically planned? Who knows! Either way - the young man was able to leverage the traffic to his advantage to create a community of his own.

Key Points

  • Stay consistent with your uploads, bad or good forget perfection, upload (but plan to improve your videos each time you upload)
  • Keep the ball rolling. Once you have a video go viral, don't stop uploading videos (this happens more than you'd expect)
  • Anything could happen. 1+ views are better than one because that one person could change your channel's history for the better by just sharing your video.

If you have read this far, then thank you! Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read our newsletter.
